3 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup sliced or chopped almonds
1 cup coconut
3 Tablespoons flax, sesame or sunflower seeds
1 cup dried fruit
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 cup brown sugar or honey
1/4 cup canola oil
1 Tablespoon vanilla
1 Tablespoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Spread onto cookie sheet with edges or large baking dish.
Bake for 10 minutes: stir. Bake for 8 minutes more. Serve with yogurt or cold milk. Also great by the handful.
I made this today. I burned the top layer so if you make this be sure to keep a close watch on it. I think this recipe is pretty flexible. You could add other types of seeds, nuts, fruits, etc. I might even try some peanut butter. Yum!
